WHO WE ARE
Prestige Eye Care is your premier care center in Brooklyn. Our private office provides state of the art (cutting edge) technology, compassionate and comprehensive eye examinations, children’s eye exam, diabetic exams, glaucoma management, urgent eye care, dry eye care and contact lens fits.
OUR STAFF
Susan Shields OD, FAAO, Dipl ABO is a Board certified Doctor of Optometry, is a graduate of SUNY college of Optometry class of 2005. She completed her residency at SUNY College of Optometry in conjunction with Kings County Hospital Center in Family Practice/Ocular Disease. She is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Shields has extensive Ocular disease Management with experiences at Emory Eye Center (Atlanta, Georgia), Grady Memorial Hospital (Atlanta, Georgia), Brookdale Hospital, Coney Island Hospital and St. Albans VA Hospital.
Dr. Shields has also had extensive teaching experience at Emory University, Atlanta Georgia where she served as Associate Professor in Ophthalmology, Attending Optometrist Brookdale Hospital and Coney Island Hospital.
Dr. Shields believes in providing outstanding comprehensive and individualized care for the entire family. We are a professional eye care practice that is dedicated to providing quality experience that is like none other. Our in house full service optical and lab enables us to provide quality and expedited eyeglasses.
